I'd recommend staining mantel a dark espresso, especially if you replace the wooden coffee table and side tables. I actually think it would work better in this room to not have a coffee table. I also think it would be good to have a woven rug as a base for your zebra hide, it helps ground it. Not necessary though, just thought it might look nice. I tried to find a nice dark tartan drapes for this room too, but wasn't able to find any ready-to-buy options. Down the road I'd recommend getting some custom-made. I also thought it would be great to have a symmetrical gallery wall above the fireplace to draw even more attention to that focal point. I wasn't sure if you needed to replace your sofa in this room or not, so I gave you an option just in case. And obviously the accessories are your's to pick and choose from!
