FLOORPLAN
IMPLEMENTING
I decided to use your San Diego print as the color inspiration for the room, keeping the nice warm wood, and earthy flax tones, but softening it up with lots of interesting textures! The layout is pretty simple, with the new bench going in between the two doors, under the San Diego print. I think it would look best to move the collection of family photos into the corner with the new chair and lamp (making a cozy lounge area). I would hang the new mirror above the dresser, with the white lacquer tray on top to bring some white to that side of the room, and brighten up the dresser. You can layer the tray with a stack of books, jewelry dish, and/or small potted plant for a finished look.
I chose two matching rope lamps for the nightstands, but gave you a few options if you'd like to do mismatched lamps. The beach photograph for above the bed was taken in San Diego, and I thought the colors, as well as the ocean vibe might fit your lifestyle well.
For your bed, I added Euro shams to go behind your current king shams, and a long custom lumbar pillow to be placed in front of your king shams, so the look is more pulled together and complete. I love the colors in the bedding and the blanket layered across the bottom! I think this room is going to be such a relaxing place to be in.
